Can
you help?
About
40 years ago I read a book by a steam driver who worked for both Sentinel
and Foden in turn. He demonstrated the Sentinel shunter among other things,
another passage referred to a dynamometer test using a wind brake and a steamer
failing due to a faulty cylinder casting. I think it had some information
re the 1930'sFoden lorry which was similar to the Sentinel S4.
Can
anyone else recall this book? The title and author?

CASTLE
FIRE BRICK – UJ 9497
Our latest quest to find a working archive photograph of UJ 9497 in Castle
Fire Brick days continues to prove fruitless, despite many appeals in the
Buckley area.
The first photograph of BEV 466 turned up at the National Collection of Welsh
Photographs in the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth, taken c.1946.

If anyone has any idea as to where we can locate a picture of
UJ 9497 working for Castle Firebrick other than the other two on display,
please I would be really interested to know.
